GPS Mapping Software - Activating the software - Tutorial

Introduction

After downloading the free GPS Mapping Studio trial version from our website, you will have access to a time-limited fully-functional version of the software. There is one exception: export functions like exporting vector data, exporting raster data and exporting GPS data will be disabled.

When the trial period expires, you will still be able to start the software, however, it is not possible to track your position and load maps anymore. To continue using the software, or to use exporting functions during the trial period, you have to activate the software.

Ordering the software

To unlock the software, you will need an activation code that can be obtained by buying a license to use the software. The software can be purchased online. As soon as your creditcard or Paypal account has been charged, you will receive the activation code by email.

Activating the software

When the activation code has been emailed to you, you can proceed to unlock the software. To enter the code, start the software and display the "About Box" by selecting "About GPS Mapping Studio..." from the "Help" menu:

Enter the code

To enter the code, click the "Enter Code..." button. The following screen will appear. Just copy-paste the code from the email you received and click "OK".

Finished

When the correct code has been entered, the "About Box" should look like the picture below. It should state: "Registered Version".
