GIS data formats which can be used are: ESRI Shape Files (.SHP), AutoCAD Drawing Exchange Files (.DXF) and OpenStreetMap files ( .OSM).
Using these files will enable the "Attribute" and "Table" view that allows you to use the GPS Mapping Software as a simple GIS viewer.
