Eye4Software Hydromagic is a single beam hydrographic survey software package for smaller dredging companies. Using a DGPS and echosounder it is possible to perform hydrographic surveys on job sites to check for instance the progress of the dredging process.
When the survey process has been finished, the data can be edited, corrected and processed to regular spaced data points, which allow you to create a coloured depth map and / or depth contours.
By comparing two soundings, you can create a report on the amount of volume dredged or moved.
The Eye4Software Coordinate Calculator is a very easy to use tool to perform transformations between different map datums and projections.
The software can be used to transform a single coordinate or a batch of coordinates read from a comma separated file.
Supported map projections include: Transverse Mercator, Oblique Mercator, Mercator, Lambert Conformal Conic, Lambert Azimuthal Equal Area, Polar Stereographic, Oblique Stereographic, Albers Equal Area Conic, Eckert IV and VI, Mollweide, Polyconic, Krovak and Cassini-Soldner.
The Coordinate Calculator is shipped with a MS Access database containing almost any map projection, geodetic datum and reference ellipsoids around.
The Eye4Software GPS Toolkit (GPS SDK) allows software developers to add GPS functionality to their programs and scripts, without the need for any knowledge on serial communications and GPS protocols like NMEA 0183 and geodesy.
The GPS Toolkit offers functionality to read and decode NMEA 0183 and Garmin PVT data, as well as converting coordinates between map datums and coordinate systems using various map projections, including Transverse Mercator, Oblique Mercator,
Mercator, Lambert Conformal Conic, Lambert Azimuthal Equal Area, Polar Stereographic, Oblique Stereographic, Albers Equal Area, Eckert IV and VI, Mollweide, Krovak, Cassini-Soldner and more.
This ActiveX component can be used in various programming environments, such as Visual Studio .NET, Visual Basic, Visual C++, Visual Basic .NET, Visual C# .NET, Borland Delphi and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
Supported also are web oriented applications such as ASP, ASP.NET and PHP.
